Description: This Jesus Christ t-shirt was designed for sex-ed outreach in NYC's Latino communities, including the Lower East Side (LES), East Harlem “El Barrio,” and The Bronx. Fermando Mariscal recalls this shirt as an example of "playing on religion and identity, Catholic symbology in particular, yet also challenging the Church's position on sex and sexuality, including condoms, abstinence, and homosexuality." LC members would wear these during their school visits and would give condoms to teenagers outside the schools as part of their community education activities.
