In the early 90s, Nicaragua was under Sandinista rule and was reporting low rates of HIV/AIDS infection and deaths. Women Community health educators from the People's Collective for the Prevention of AIDS or NIMEHUATZAN "moving together for a noble cause" plans to visit the U.S. to share their experiences with U.S.-based activists and service providers.
